Week of November 2nd- November 8th
This week, check your retirement account and make sure your portfolio hasn't drifted to a different strategy. Drift happens when some asset classes do really well and/or other asset classes does poorly throughout the year.
If your portfolio has drifted by more than a few percentage points from your ideal allocation, re-balance your portfolio. By selling off the winners and buying the losers, you'll bring your portfolio back to your desired allocation and have the side benefit of selling high and buying low.
