Challenge for Week July 18th - July 24th
This week, check to make sure all your monthly bills are automated in your online banking site. You may have new bills that you never had the time to enter into bill pay, use today to add them.
Grab your checkbook and your stack of bills and make sure each one has an entry in bill pay. Set up automatic bill payments for any company (or person) you're still writing regular checks to.
Also, if you haven't set up an auto-payment for your credit cards, now is the time to do it. Set an automatic payment of a few hundred dollars so that, no matter what, you know you'll never get a late charge. Then use a second bill payment each month to pay off the rest of the credit card balance like normal.
